Overview:

Article 6.2 of the Paris Agreement under the United Nations Framework ​Convention on Climate Change enables countries to cooperate in their ​decarbonisation efforts by allowing emission reduction projects in one ​country to be attributed to the Nationally Determined Contributions ​(NDCs) of another country.

The purpose of this engagement was to:

• create awareness and benefits of this mechanism within MAN Energy ​Solutions and their clients,

• explain eligibility criteria and the development process of a carbon ​project, and
  

• provide a high level estimate of the potential emission reductions a ​MAN heat pump may achieve against a baseline scenario.
