Overview:

A Belgian startup incubated by Belgacom International Carrier ​Services, its purpose was to tap into the $700+ billion money transfer ​market through an open and neutral remittance hub enabling ​interoperability between licensed service providers and across ​consumer channels. The startup was later acquired by MasterCard.


The purpose of this engagement included:

  • defining the commercial and operating models of the services, as
  • well as managing the sales and deployment activities within the ​company
  • liaising with central banks to assist clients to obtain the necessary ​approvals for the operation of the cross border remittance service ​within their jurisdiction
  • account managing dozens of existing client relationships around the ​world across all operational disciplines including legal, compliance, ​financial, process and technical functions
