Overview:
An announcement by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to allow the establishment of Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) in the country created an opportunity to participate in Africa's largest telecom market. The application requirements were complex and included the submission of a USD 1 million bank guarantee as well as Memorandum of Understanding from an existing host MNO.
The purpose of this engagement included:
- Over a period of 3 weeks coordinating teams across various organisations and geographies to produce the necessary deliverables to meet the tight deadlines and conditions for the application of the MVNO license.
