Overview:

As a prominent legal firm in Nigeria, SimmonsCooper Partners was ​commissioned by its client to offer insights on the creation of a carbon ​exchange in Nigeria, to assess the potential opportunities anticipated ​from the African Carbon Market Initiative (ACMI).

To assist with this mandate, I was tasked with:

• preparing an assessment of the current state of the global carbon ​markets (compliance and voluntary), and
  

• developing a strategy and business case for the launch of a MVP.
