Overview:

The company has recognized the opportunity to convert unused ​biomass from its plantation into biochar as an additional source of ​revenue, and in tandem also generate carbon credits to help fund such ​activity.

The purpose of this engagement was to:

• familiarize key stakeholders with the various carbon markets and ​project development processes, and

• estimate future size of the global biochar market and identify key ​drivers for such demand.
